Verb is the most
important word in a sentence which expresses an
action or state. In Portuguese verbs are
conjugated to different forms in different tenses
and in different persons of the noun using it.
Portuguese verbs
may be classified in two groups regular and
irregular.
Usually the verbs
ending with -ar,
-er and -ir have regular forms when conjugated.
This means all verbs ending -ar have fixed forms in different tenses
and persons. So is in the case of verbs ending
with -er
and -ir. Such
verbs are also termed as ar, er and ir verbs.
