- When follows a vowel the preceding vowel is nasalized.

n- When placed before a vowel it is roughly same as in English.
- When follows a vowel it nasalizes it.
- In Portuguese 'n' does not appear as last alphabet. The last alphabet 'n' is replaced by 'm'.
- 'n' followed by 'h' is pronounced 'nio' or 'nia' as in onion.
